We love our Zelfs!!!

The Zelfs, from Moose Toys, are super cute little doll creatures with funky, colourful hair that sticks straight up! They have cute little faces and very individual styles. In this, our first part of The Ditzy Channel's Ultimate Guide to the Zelfs, we give you a brief run down on the Zelfs: their sizes, personalities and backgrounds, where they live, their accessories and the official Zelf website. There are 3 different sizes of Zelf - tiny ones, 'Lil Zelfs' that come in their own little pots (Series 1-3), mushroom pods (Series 4) and [Update!] flowers (Series 5) almost like surprise eggs or blind boxes, the second size, 'The Zelfs', that are the easiest to find in the shops and a third large size, 'Super Zelfs'.
Little Individuals
The Zelfs have wonderful back stories and little personalities! On the back of the medium sized Zelfs packaging, their are individual Zelf bios, with a birthday, special Zelf power and their Fabitat. See Smoothie and Galexia's (Series 4) back of pack info below!
Where The Zelfs Live They all live in a garden paradise called Zardenia and only appear at night. Each Zelf has their own 'Fabitat' like Smoothie's 'Banana Lounge' and Galexia's 'Hairport'! Inside Zelf packs you can find a leaflet (see left) with a map of Zardenia, showing lots of Fabitats.
Accessories
The Zelfs (medium size) come with accessories, the smaller packs have a comb and a hair slide visible from the front of the packaging and little hair bands (with the leaflet inside the packaging). Some of the medium sized Zelfs (like the Zelicious range) have actual little Fabitats instead of the comb and hair slide. Some limited editions also have different accessories to the norm, e.g. Pearleen (Series 5), who has a charm instead of a hair slide.
Zelfcessories
The Zelfs also have a range of super cool Zelfcessories, which are the playsets to go with them, sold separately, though they do usually come with special edition Zelfs that you can only get with the playset.
The Zelfs Website
The Official Zelfs Website is great fun, with lots of info about our gorgeous Zelfs and my personal favourites, the two play activities on the site. The first is their Dragonfly Counter (see left) which sits up in the top right corner of the site and you use the net on your cursor to catch the dragonflies flittering about the site - check it out to see what happens when you catch one! <3
The second is the super cool 'Play' tab where you will find the awesome 'Create Your Own Zelf' game. You can choose the body, eyes, mouth, ears, hair, wings and Zelf mark. Here's DitzyMum's go at the game! (See right.)
There are also lots of groovy posters to download and some Zelf colouring sheets.
